The Bridge offers specialized programs for three important populations:
Outreach and Drop-In Center - Outreach to homeless people in Morningside Heights and Harlem. Drop-in Center provides case management, food, showers, and assessment. There is also a service to help high-risk people receive HIV testing. Referrals should go to 551 West 125th Street Storefront Walk-in between the hours of 10:00AM - 4:00PM Mon-Fri or call Gerald Lundy at (212) 666-2060.
MICA Treatment Services - The agency's MICA programs are designed for persons with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse. Services include group and individual treatment, case management, and support services. In addition, Double Trouble groups are run on-site. Specialized MICA housing is available in Queens. HIV/AIDS Services - The agency operates comprehensive services funded by Ryan White Title I funds for persons with HIV/AIDS. These services include an outreach/drop-in program, case management, individual and group treatment, psychotropic medication therapy, and substance abuse treatment. Emergency/transitional, permanent housing, and housing advocacy are available for persons with HIV/AIDS. Referrals call intake coordinator at (212) 663-3000, ext.377.
Forensic ACT Team - This interdisciplinary team comprised of social workers, an RN, a part-time psychiatrist, case manager and peer worker provides intensive services to seriously mentally ill men and women in Manhattan who have been in the criminal justice system.
