Directions to The Bridge - We are located at 108th Street and Broadway. We are near the 110th Street/Cathedral Parkway station on the #1 or #9 train. We are also near the M104, M4, M5, M60, and M116 bus.
Volunteers - The Bridge welcomes the participation of volunteers in its programs. For information, call Rochelle Eisner, CSW at (212) 663-3000, extension 322.
Funding - The Bridge relies on funds from government, foundations, and individuals to provide its comprehensive array of services. It also receives funds as a member of the United Way of New York. Services to clients are offered on a fee-for-service basis. Most clients are Medicaid-eligible, although there is a sliding scale for a small number of clients. Contracts for special programs and projects include the New York State Office of Mental Health (housing, supported housing and Special Employment); the New York City Department of Public Health (Assisted Competitive Employment, homeless outreach/drop-in, young adult and MICA housing); U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (housing); and U.S. Title I Ryan White funds (HIV/AIDS services).
How You Can Help - The generous support of our friends, donors and government funders makes it possible for The Bridge to provide its services to meet the needs of one of New York City's most vulnerable populations. For information on giving, contact Carole Gordon, CSW at (212) 663-3000, extension 378. |
